1.
I close my eyes To reach the unknown Every unseen Myth of my past Fallen memories melt into my tears I recess from the light into deepening darkness Frustrations tension eludes in me Damn myself by this eternal restlessness As a misbegotten child i’m lying low In my cradle I stained evermore My dishonest face from God I must turn Let all the sin bury me under I close my eyes To reach the unknown Every unseen myth Of my past I banished my single chance to leave the hole My final judgement will never come It’s darkening by my soul, I lay dying Beside the grave of my deadborn dreams
2.
From forgotten lands I hear the voice of their chants It’s not other’s sense It’s everyone’s absence Plead forgiveness father I could not stand the fight To defend firmly those dying ways From much of their immortality gains As I’m marching through ruins of glorious times The velvet shroud of darkness falls down And the land below it becomes A bottomless moat of blackness All my dreams dissolved by now Life left bleeding in my soiled hands Solitude, pain… The last things left for me As I lay into the dead leaves I cry at all remains While spirits gather around And pull me underground
3.
Fading walks the sun on a twilit sky Casting rays on withered lands Lands of unheard cries, demented minds Silence deafens me again And maybe the last time I just want to believe That we will once leave All this darkness Nothing seems to change The endless rage Tears us all apart All those unspoken words Those feelings covered Hurl me into madness Noone really can heal With blood refill My everbleeding heart Distant echoes of rustling leaves Play the wind’s serene piece Notes fall dead on the instant as The sun saunters under then sets Leaves the world to suffocate I just want to believe That we will once leave All this darkness Nothing seems to change The endless rage Tears us all apart All those unspoken words Those feelings covered Hurl me into madness Noone really can heal With blood refill My everbleeding heart
4.
It’s a failure of mine For all the ages I cry Lost the long endeavour Missing the final lifeline Pushing the will: Getting over the strain Being alive? – I have been I feel dearth deep within The fears immerse down In the water I drown When the sea shall release me dead No might keeps me intact I don’t want this Only I could not take this It’s time to shake off The shell – void and hollow Born beyond again My sick heart I have thrown away Away… But it comes far, inevitably The fallen leaves From the tree of dreams Tear me to pieces And the life of the world comes to an end Through my soul, Amen.
